careers are exhausting
2012-09-05
this whole trying to have a ‘career’ shit is exhausting.
I just want steady work with maybe paid (or even unpaid but definitely unpunished) sick days, maybe some vacation, and maybe benefits. (which essentially rules out customer service or most service jobs)
All I want is to stop worrying about how I’m going to pay my bills and stuff.
I should have realized this a while back and got myself set up in clerical work or something. OR actually done a bachelors with some usefulness or just when to college for a programming certificate (coding is pretty much the only task I know that can keep me interested and occupied for hours).
Sigh. All I ever wanted was to learn stuff. Which is why I was in school for such a long time. Sadly, that sort of lifestyle is really only sustainable if you have money (which I don’t).
