(tw) Names of Trans Feminine People Who've Died in 2012

I’m using ‘trans feminine’ to be a little more inclusive of the cases where it is unclear how the person identified (i.e., ‘found in women’s clothing’). However, many of the people here are trans women. Most are trans women of color.

I also couldn’t find the chosen (as opposed to legal) names for many of the non-american people.

If I’ve left anyone out, please let me know. Or if you know the chosen name for any of these people.*

  • This list isn’t just made of people who were violently killed. It includes all the deaths I could find reports about, which the news being what it is, means that many are victims of murder. Many, but not all.
