i feel like there is this… idk, sort of competition for people to appear more jaded/blasé than everyone else when it comes to the supreme shittiness of what oppressors will do.

but, i think, the problem with this.

is that at some point we will all be shocked. not because of privilege or having our heads in the sand

but because part of how we got to this place, is because on a very fundamental level, we will never comprehend just how far and how much (white/cis/hetero) people will do to maintain their power

because however low we think they can go, they always go lower.
