Do people not understand what a simple question is? 

“What did you mean by x?” is a simple question. 

I’m not using my ‘magical sj powers’ when I read a paragraph trying to convince me that the complex verbiage is a simple question. 

And why wouldn’t I be allowed to set the terms for engaging with me?
