the kind of environmental change we need is literally impossible

without dismantling

white supremacy (anti-Blackness, settler colonialism, orientalism)

capitalism

and so on

first.

it just wont happen. so long as we have a socio/political/economic situation

whereby the first and only real goal is continuous expansion and growth

(literally the logic of colonialism)

NOTHING WE DO AS INDIVIDUALS WILL MATTER

(unless we are willing to hold our breathe for white ppl to grow a fucking sense of morality, ethics, and restraint. and the way things are going, air quality will get so bad — in some places already is — that this will be our only option left)
