is not that parents think like this. many of us know that parents, do, in fact think like this.

it is that there are so many of us

who

because we had parents like this

believe that this is 100%

completely okay normal loving healthy

when it is really one of the most directly threatening things i’ve seen being posted by parents going

“yes! this is totally the way to do it”

and children saying

“wow, i guess you did your job”

if someone ever promises you something like that.

it is a threat. and you should run away as soon as you can.

this is not love. and you deserve better.
