how the white insistance that gender and sexuality are two completely distinct things has actually prevented many trans people in poc countries

from utilizing their country’s non-discrimination against sexuality laws from asserting their rights…

(don’t even have to wonder…. since i can see how the strong distinction has meant that trans people in canada have to fight for our own grounds of non-discrimination because the sexual orientation one is thought to necessarily exclude us.)
