suddenly wondering re: my discussion with apatheticsexlife about the inhumanity of white rationalism…

and thinking about christianity and ‘original’ sin and how so much of the point of it is to transcend or go beyond our humanity and, idk, remove it or make it less so. 

I think of the righteousness of the colonial mentality and wonder if 

the inhumanity of it all

is actually purposeful of this continual and almost constant process to be less human. Or non human. To overcome ‘humanity’ 

And the culmination of all this time spent trying to be unhuman

is 

well

white people, white culture, and white imperialism

(and how ironic that it seems like white people have been trying to overcome their humanity and poc have simply been trying to get seen as human)
