Random note: anyone who doesn’t list their race in an about me or description when I check out their blog or whatever, I automatically assume is white. 

Two reasons: 

1. It is usually white people who think their race is irrelevant. 

2. For protection. Because too often it turns out this way and I try to save my energy for other poc. This is actually why I finally put something up on my page. 

But I do understand why some people don’t. I know I didn’t because I wanted my actions to speak louder than a short description.
