but one of the more interesting/useful parts

is they way they conceptualize how communities are formed

and how, small communities (lless than 200 or so)

can be formed on trust and principles of reciprocity

and that when you start getting bigger than that

you need something like religion

or in the modern age

something like secular values like ‘democracy’ or whatever (read nationalism – or colonialism has happened in the past/now too)

and. like. i definitely think that using spiritual means is better than the secular ones for creating large scale societies

but.

i think that small communities working in coalitions is more desirable.
