this is why i dont bother with most ppl anymore. esp. the academic ones who;re all ‘u need a million citations for everything’

when all u really fucking need is some ability to perceive the world and the ability to connect two dots

(now, very true that not everyone can do both/either. i’m not talking about u)

u can look around the world

see all these ppl who look similar

see how they live and what their lives are

how everyone treats them

and still demand ‘proof’ when in the absence of this ‘proof’ hundreds of years ago

one group of ppl (cough white ppl cough)

saw the similarities well enough to create an entire global economy off of the oppression and exploitation of this group……….

no matter where they found them

literally every fucking corner of the world

and ppl are just shrugging their shoulders and going
